HYPERSPIM @ MAKER FAIRE ROME!

From October 17th to 19th, our team took part in Maker Faire Rome – The European Edition, the largest European event dedicated to accessible innovation, shared creativity, and collective discovery. We presented a prototype of an optical computer based on the HYPERSPIM project and explored how this technology could help optimize urban traffic routes in Rome. The proposal, “Shedding Light on Chaos: A Photonic Computer to Solve Rome’s Traffic Puzzle”, brought the SPIM out of the lab and into the spotlight, sparking great interest among visitors and tech enthusiasts alike.
